Adult Swim Lessons

ADULT SWIM LESSONS Register Now

It's never too late to learn!

Whether you want to learn strokes and how to float, become a proficient lap swimmer and/or acquire water safety skills, we are committed to achieving your goals.

Classes are based on three basic levels of ability from absolute beginner to stroke refinement and improvement. For ages 13+. Class ratios are low to maximize experience. Our instructor to participant ratios meet YUSA standards with 1 instructor to 8-12 participants.

We offer two levels of swim lessons for teens and adult members.

ADULT LEARN-TO-SWIM

Teen & Adult Beginner

Lessons will teach you comfort in the water, floating and breathing patters. A favorable instructor to participant ratio will help you progress at your own pace.

SWIMMING 101

Teen & Adult Intermediate

Class participants should already be able to swim the length of the pool comfortably. Class focuses on stroke development, stroke variation, and endurance.

The Y is committed to providing programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for all. We make every effort to ensure that no one is turned away due to inability to pay. Click to read more about our Open Door Scholarship Program for financial assistance.
